We are planning an annual programme of events where you can take away seeds to grow, watch cookery demonstrations, try local produce or take part in other fun activities about food.

Our events include local produce festivals, food swaps, debates, farm visits and more. We also organise pick and cook days for adults and children that include opportunities to try seasonal food and dishes from different cultures.

We also organise a Local Food Week in September, during the city's Food Festival. During this week of events, you can swap excess crops, watch cookery demonstrations, try local produce or take part in other fun activities about food. Events will include local produce festivals, film screenings, allotment open days and more. We'll also be announcing the winner of our Grow It competition for businesses.
